Corbeau LLC, doing business as Corbeau Spatial ("Corbeau," "Company," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to providing professional services with integrity, transparency, and professionalism.
Because every project is unique and often involves professional time, research, scheduling, field coordination, data collection, and technical analysis, this Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations, deposits, payments, and refund requests are handled.

Professional services differ from retail purchases because they involve time, expertise, scheduling, research, planning, and project management.
Deposits
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, many projects require an upfront deposit before work begins.
A standard deposit is typically 50% of the estimated project value, although deposit requirements may vary depending on:
Project size
Scope of work
Scheduling requirements
Equipment needs
Travel requirements
Client history
Contractual agreements
Receipt of a deposit allows Corbeau to reserve project resources and begin project planning.
Cancellation Before Work Begins
Clients may request cancellation before project work has commenced.
If no professional work has been performed, Corbeau may, at its sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund of any deposit, less any administrative costs already incurred.
Administrative costs may include, but are not limited to:
Proposal preparation
Project setup
Scheduling
Administrative processing
Payment processing fees
Cancellation After Work Has Begun
Once professional services have commenced, cancellation does not automatically entitle a client to a refund.
Professional work may include:
Research
Records review
Survey preparation
GIS analysis
CAD drafting
Field scheduling
Travel
Data processing
Project management
Meetings
Technical consultation
Drone mission planning
Software configuration
Deliverable preparation
Clients remain responsible for payment for work completed prior to cancellation.
Refund Requests
Due to the professional nature of our services, refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may depend upon the scope of work completed, contractual obligations, and project-specific circumstances.
When evaluating a refund request, Corbeau may consider:
Percentage of work completed
Project milestones achieved
Time invested
Expenses incurred
Deliverables produced
Client communications
Contract terms
Circumstances beyond either party's control
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
Client Satisfaction
Corbeau values long-term relationships with our clients.
If concerns arise regarding a project, we encourage clients to contact us promptly so that we may evaluate the issue and, where appropriate, discuss reasonable solutions.
Depending upon the circumstances, Corbeau may offer:
Clarifications
Reasonable revisions
Supplemental explanations
Corrective work within the original scope
Alternative resolutions agreed upon by both parties
Changes in Project Scope
Requests that substantially change the agreed scope of work may require:
Additional fees
Revised schedules
Updated proposals
Contract amendments
Any additional work beyond the original agreement may be billed separately.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Project schedules may be affected by circumstances outside Corbeau's reasonable control, including:
Severe weather
Natural disasters
Government actions
Utility conflicts
Site access restrictions
Permit delays
Equipment failures
Third-party delays
Client response times
Public safety concerns
Such delays do not automatically constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Non-Payment
Failure to make required payments may result in:
Suspension of services
Delayed delivery of project materials
Withholding of final deliverables until payment obligations have been satisfied
Additional collection efforts as permitted by law
Corbeau reserves all rights available under applicable contracts and Louisiana law regarding unpaid balances.
Digital Deliverables
Unless otherwise specified in writing, digital products delivered to clients—including maps, GIS data, CAD files, reports, imagery, databases, and other electronic deliverables—are considered delivered upon transmission or when made available for download.
Because digital deliverables cannot be returned, they are generally not eligible for refund once delivered, except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.
Custom Work
Most services performed by Corbeau are customized for each client and project.
Customized professional work is generally not eligible for refund solely because a client later decides not to use the completed work.
Contract Controls
Where a signed contract, proposal, purchase order, master services agreement, or other written agreement contains refund or cancellation terms that differ from this policy, the written agreement shall control.
Policy Updates
Corbeau reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Changes become effective upon publication on our Website.
